How does redaction work?
Every page with a redaction is rebuilt as an image with the marked areas filled black, so the covered content isn't in the new file. Text on those pages is no longer selectable.

What does "Redactions verified" mean?
SendReady re-opens the exported copy and checks it: no selectable text on redacted pages, the redacted text can't be found by search, the redacted areas are solid black, and the pages still line up with the original. If a check can't be completed, the app says so and asks you to review the file yourself.

Why can't Find & Redact find text on some pages?
Scanned pages are images and contain no searchable text. SendReady flags them when you open a document; mark those areas by hand.

Is my original file changed?
No. SendReady always creates a new copy.

What does it cost?
You can finish one document a week for free, and the built-in sample document is always free. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited use. There is no subscription.

I bought the unlock. How do I restore it on another device?
Open Settings (the gear icon on the Home screen) and tap Restore Purchase, using the same Apple Account.

Limitations
SendReady can't read text inside scanned images, doesn't make files untraceable, and doesn't remove every kind of hidden history. Password-protected PDFs aren't supported in this version.
