YourNextJob AI ("we", "us") provides AI-powered job-search tools on iPhone. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

Account data: your name and email address, used to create and secure your account (Sign in with Apple or email).
Your content: CVs you upload or build, job descriptions you save, cover letters, interview answers (including transcripts of spoken practice answers, transcribed on your device), and related documents.
Usage data: in-app events (for example which features are used) tied to your user ID, used to improve the product.

How we use it

To provide the service: your CV and job text are sent to our secure backend and processed by our AI provider (DeepSeek) solely to generate your analyses, rewrites, letters and coaching. Requests go through our server; our AI provider never receives your name, email or API credentials.
To operate accounts, subscriptions and support.
To understand feature usage and improve the app.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
We do not train AI models on your documents.

Storage and security

Data is stored with Supabase (managed Postgres) with row-level security so only your account can access your rows. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. Delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete Account — this permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers. You can also email sjsanjay28@gmail.com.

Your rights

Depending on your region (including under UK/EU GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase your data. Contact us to exercise them.

Children

YourNextJob AI is not directed at children under 16.
